An Introduction to Tropical Travels
Hi, my name is Alani, and on this blog, I will be talking about tropical places you can travel to, and what you can do there. I’m writing this blog because I love traveling, especially to warmer areas. Some places that I’ve always wanted to go to are, Bora Bora, Tahiti, Riviera Maya, Mexico, and The Mamanuca Islands, Hawaii. I hope you look forward to my upcoming posts!
Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Surrounded by sand-fringed motus (islets) and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef, it’s known for its scuba diving. It’s also a popular luxury resort destination where some guest bungalows are perched over the water on stilts. At the island’s center rises Mt. Otemanu, a 727m dormant volcano.
What can you do at Bora Bora?
Snorkeling, the clear waters and exciting wildlife make snorkeling a must do activity when in Bora Bora, Scuba Diving, Dinner on the Beach, Dolphin & Whale Watching, Sunset Cruise, 4WD Tour, or Climb Mount Pahia.
Maldives
“The Maldives, officially the Republic of Maldives, is a small island nation in South Asia, located in the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean. It lies southwest of Sri Lanka and India, about 1,000 kilometres from the Asian continent.”, according to Google. One of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, Maldives is a wonderful tropical island that boasts of white sandy beaches, azure sea waters and exotic, colorful coral reefs. Private beach huts are the best accommodation option at this tropical paradise lying amid the Indian Ocean. This wonderland island has several interesting realities that one may not know. While most countries, weekends mean Saturday and Sunday, well in Maldives weekends means Friday and Saturday.
